Camille Loye - Cuvée Saint Paul - Trousseau 1989
Here is a nugget and a real "Unicorn" wine. Camille Loye is one of the greatest winegrowers in Jura. The estate is no longer in activity following Camille's retirement in the early 1990s. Like the best wines, only the great vintages were bottled: 1969, 1973, 1976, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1988 and his last vintage: 1989! In the "smaller" vintages he sold his grapes to other winegrower friends.
The Cuvée Saint Paul 1989 is a 100% Trousseau which was released very late so that it is ready to drink. We therefore advise to open this bottle in advance, at least 3/4 hours without decanting it. A great Trousseau, a legendary wine, a wine for friends. But above all a wine of sharing and memory. Well done to Camille!
Following the very significant demand on this cuvée, we must limit the sale to a maximum of 3 bottles per customer. Thanks for your understanding :)
