Château La Courtiade Pey Vergès - Blanc sec 2019
Les Vignobles Peyvergès is located in Casseuil, in the Entre-Deux-Mers region of Bordeaux. Created in 1965 by Jean-Pierre Peyvergès, today Alexis and Pascal Peyvergès are in charge of the family vineyard. They planted new plots, made changes in the cultivation and winemaking systems, and decided in 2009 to convert to organic farming, which is now certified.
This dry white wine is a blend of Sauvignon Blanc (80%) and Muscadelle (20%), the vines of which are around 13 years old. The grapes undergo a 6-hour skin maceration to extract the aromas, then they are pressed. Alcoholic fermentation lasts between 15 days and 3 weeks.
