Seis 14 - Gintol - Mexican Gin - 45%
Seis14 is a company dedicated to the production and sale of unique Mexican spirits. The Sotol is one of the star products, they also merge and mix different Mexican plants. The objective of Seis14 is to promote and increase the culture of Sotol in Mexico and around the world, always bringing new techniques to the market in order to enhance the designation of origin. It is made from the Wheeler's Dasylire (Desert Spoon) plant, also known as Sotol, which is part of the Asparagaceae family. The process of making Sotol involves harvesting the plant, roasting the heart of the plant (or piñas), then fermenting and distilling the resulting liquid.
Gintol is the creation of the founder, master distiller and Mezcallier Carlos Aragón, who decided to innovate and use ancestral products from two worlds and bring together the path of European Gin and Mexican Sotol. The alcoholic base of Sotol is macerated like gin with juniper berries, cardamom, fennel, apricot, a mixture of peppers and a mixture of citrus peels. It offers notes of citrus, herbs and smoke.
