Chambord - Raspberry liqueur - 16.5%
Chambord liqueur is a raspberry liqueur produced in Cour-Cheverny in the Loir-et-Cher region. Legend has it that it was created in 1685 when Louis XIV visited the Château de Chambord.
Black and ripe raspberries are first infused in neutral alcohol and French brandy for several weeks. The macerated fruits are then pressed to recover the juices, then a second maceration is carried out with a new portion of alcohol, to capture finer and more balanced notes. After the infusions, the juice is mixed with cognac , an infusion of Madagascan vanilla , citrus peels , honey and secret spices .
" A liqueur that evokes a royal court dessert: heady, refined, and perfect for topping a cheesecake or enhancing a simple glass of bubbles."
