Domaine de Naisse - Brenot Beranger - Red Burgundy - Pinot Noir 2021
The Domaine de Naisse is located in Laizé, in the Mâconnais in the south of Burgundy . It was created in 1980 by Guy Beranger , first engaged in a cooperative cellar, and who began to vinify at the property in 1997. Christophe Brenot joined him in 1999. The estate now extends over more than 20 hectares following the acquisition of plots in the Mâcon-Villages, Bourgogne Pinot Noir and Viré-Clessé appellations. The estate is now managed by Christophe and Elodie, his wife and daughter of Guy.
The red Burgundy comes from the blending of 2 plots of young Pinot Noir vines in the commune of Laizé in the places called Les Châtaigniers and En Naisse. The vines were planted in 2007 and 2000. The vatting lasts 12 days with pumping over, two pigeages and daily delestage. The aging lasts 5 to 9 months in barrels of 2 to 15 years of age.
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
