Burgundy Red is made from Pinot Noir vines aged 45 years. The grapes are harvested by hand, sorted and then vinified with 60% whole bunches. The vatting lasts 11 days with 5 to 7 punching downs and pumping over. The wine is aged for 12 months in one-, two- and three-year-old barrels, followed by 3 months in vats.
Grape variety: 100% Pinot Noir
"A remarkably precise red: a fresh nose of morello cherry, sweet spices, and a floral touch. On the palate, crisp, sincere fruit, silky tannins, and a saline, almost ethereal finish."
