Domaine Sant Armettu - Mino Rosé 2024
Domaine Sant Armettu is located in Propriano, in southern Corsica . It was founded in 1964 by Lucien Seroin and his son Paul. The estate takes its name from the Saint Hermit, who according to legend healed with plants. The story of this Saint Hermit deeply inspired Gilles Seroin , 4th generation of winemakers in his family. In 1996, succeeding Paul, his father, he was able to develop his heritage by exploiting the full potential of his vineyard located between sea and mountains. Today, the estate has 40 hectares of vines, representing island grape varieties such as Rimenese, Genovese, Biancu Ghjentile, Minustellu, and Aleaticu. Some of the plots are certified organic, the rest are still in conversion . For more than 10 years, Domaine Sant Armettu has also produced olive oil.
Minò Rosé is made from Sciccarellu grapes grown on the hillsides of the Gulf of Propriano and Tizzano, composed of clay-granite soils. The harvest is destemmed, sorted and then directly pressed. The wine is aged in stainless steel vats .
